Delivering a Dream
We would love to introduce you to Jene. She is 19 years old, lives a little ways south of Seattle, and is battling aggressive bone cancer. The truth is that the cancer is winning. In spite of that, Jene is a bright, energetic, sweet young woman.
A few days ago, two of our VPs (Barbie Hull and Christopher Smith) had the chance to help out with delivering a wish to Jene from the Dream Foundation, our 2011 charity.
Jene's wish was for a special puppy, a sweet little Dachshund at a local pet shop. The Dream Foundation and Petosphere made this dream possible, and our two GHGH team members picked up the puppy and delivered him to Jene's home with balloons, doggy toys, and a lot of smiles all around.
