Michelle has a degree in accounting... and never studied a lick of art. After working for a large accounting firm, she worked in the fashion industry, which peaked her curiosity in color and design. She founded mmm... paper in 2004 deciding that her life was not going to be confined to spreadsheets and ticking-n-tying. She loves paper and decided her career was going to be about playing with paper. Michelle is a specialist in what she calls "tactile design", the melding of papers to create a beautiful image (as opposed to graphic design, where images are created by computer.) She sees paper in the way fashion designers see fabric. When she's not dreaming of paper combinations, she loves watching movies, dancing to samba music, drinking wine, eating cheese, and changing poopy diapers.

She likes to think of herself as another family member when working with her clients, getting to know them along the way, listening to their ideas, creating personalized touches and seamlessly managing all the intricate details to ensure the wedding day is everything they have envisioned and more. Michelle's professional background in event planning has stemmed from diverse positions in public relations, marketing and corporate social responsibility for Microsoft Corp. and Expedia Inc. Michelle holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Washington and now lives in the lovely neighborhood of Ravenna with her husband and boxer-lab Harley.

Kelly has been planning weddings and events for 8 years, and this is her dream job! In her previous life, she was a Director of Human Rescources for Starbucks, and has a special love for all things coffee! Her favorite beverage is an iced, tall, 2 pump, white chocolate Americano. For her own wedding she and her husband Chris enjoyed a destination wedding in Palm Springs, followed by a honeymoon to Italy. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys traveling to far away countries, being an aunt to two adorable nieces, playing tennis, wine tasting, and spending time with friends and family!

I grew up in Camarillo (California), then Issaquah, then Carnation (go cows!), and now live in Ballard (the best neighborhood in Seattle). And MY favorite drink is a nonfat latte by day, and a dirty vodka martini (super dirty!) by night. Extra olives.
