Lisa’s Wish: A Wedding

You may remember Lisa’s story:  On February 14th, 2009 Get Hitched Give Hope had the privilege of photographing Lisa’s dream wedding.  Her wish was for the wedding she never had – and that is exactly what she received.  She was able to celebrate life, her love for her husband of 20+ years, and share it with all of her friends, family, and three beautiful daughters.

On January 6th, 2010 Lisa lost her battle with cancer.  Here is the message we received:
“Last night at 11:45, Lisa lost her battle with Breast Cancer. A lot of you were instrumental in making her wish come true last year and gave her a wedding on Valentines day. I want to thank you so much for being a part of her life. It may have been for a short time but it meant the world to her.  Thank you for what you do and for who you are.

Here are a few images from the day, and if you would like to see the story as originally published click HERE or HERE.
