We are thrilled to have glassybaby involved with Get Hitched Give Hope for the 2nd year in a row! Now only does glassybaby create gorgeous votives for wedding decor & gifts, but they do it while giving back to others in need.  It is only logical that we highlight glassybaby & the giving that they do throughout our event decor and in the silent auction.

 

 

What is glassybaby all about?

glassybaby was founded by three time cancer survivor Lee Rhodes who was inspired by the light from a lit, handmade votive during her battle in 1998.  She wanted to spread that hope.  Today, glassybaby has donated $600,000 to charities dedicated to healing and quality of life.

 

glassybaby are created by Seattle artists in 400+ colors with unique names like hope, joy and happiness.

 

“glassybaby is all about helping people heal and showing them that hope is still alive event during the most difficult times.  We want people to continue to see the goodness in life,” says Lee.

 

glassybaby donates a proceed of their sales to charity.  What inspired you to get involved with Get Hitched Give Hope?

 

We were impressed with Get Hitched Give Hope’s mission and felt that we would fit perfectly together!  This is our 2nd year participating and we are really looking forward to it.

 

How are you participating in this year’s event?

 

glassybaby is donating a rental for the silent auction.  Guests can bid on a rental package of 50 glassybaby votives to light up their special day, a retail value of $250.

 

In addition, our handmade, colorful votives will be on the tables at your event bringing light to the evening.
