Are you looking for an unique way to treat your guests to something special at your wedding? Street Treats, Seattle’s very first dessert truck, can bring delicious treats to directly to your celebration! I had the pleasure of chatting about all things sweet with Street Treat’s owner, Diane Skwiercz.
Diane, what is Street Treats all about?
We’re a mobile dessert truck. We’ve been in business since June of 2010. I absolutely love sweets and have an addiction to traveling, so it was a natural combination! Street Treats is able to cater desserts with the truck or without the track, making it easy to bring desserts to any location.
I love having the opportunity to meet new people and seeing the common connection with our love of sweets. Right now we are the only dessert truck offering build your own ice cream cookie sandwiches. We make all our desserts from scratch – including our ice cream. We put the fun in dessert!
How are you inspired?
Right now, the food truck movement is fairly new in Seattle and having the support from the other food truck owners really encourages me!
If you could give any advice to a newly engaged couple, what would it be?
1) Travel and explore together, the world is so amazing.
2) Find a hobby that you will enjoy together.
What inspired you to get involved with Get Hitched Give Hope?
Giving back, no matter how small or large your business, is so important. I have spent pretty much my adult life volunteering in some capacity or another and as a woman I have taken many trips to the Breast Center at Swedish.
What are you donating this year to Get Hitched Give Hope?
We have a bistro table and are donating a party platter which includes delivery. If you are having any type of party, you have one less thing to worry about, we’ve got your desserts covered! This is the perfect thing for a bride & groom to bid on for the pre-wedding events or the wedding itself.

Christopher - Love Street Treats!! Their treats are so good, and I’m kinda what you’d call an “expert” on dessert.
