Megan, tell us a little bit about your business…
I own Clutch Events, a wedding and event planning company. I started Clutch Events because I absolutely LOVE everything related to weddings and I was great at helping brides and grooms! I’ve been doing weddings and events for over 4 years now, it’s so satisfying to know that I have helped my couples have a great wedding day! Clients choose me because I have a mixture of relate-able, fun and outgoing personality traits that makes it easy for them to trust me to execute their vision.
Why did you get involved with Get Hitched Give Hope?
GHGH is such a great cause! All of you (and unfortunately there are a lot of you) who know someone that has had stage 4 breast cancer can totally understand the value this organization creates.
We heard you are auctioning off something at the gala! Please tell us about it…
I’m super-duper excited to be donating a “Day Of” Wedding Package in the silent auction this year! It includes a client consultation, rehearsal coordination and all of the fun stuff that I do to put together the day of the wedding.
If you could pass on your advice to an engaged couple, what three tips would you give?
1. Create a budget as soon as possible!
2. Think of festive and unique ideas that are ‘so you guys’ to incorporate in the wedding.
3 remember to have FUN on your wedding day!!
